Huge Problem!!!

I had posted on Craigslist for advice on what people thought of my website. It was brought to my attention that my website looks different to each person who uses a different broswer. I use Internet Explorer so it looks fine, one of the people on Craigslist use fire fox and told me that less people are now using IE and using other services. Well I downloaded fire fox and pictures run in to the words and the boxes go in to other boxes..but if i change it so that it appears to look good on fire fox it will look messed up on IE

Thats normal. There are many different browsers, the three most popular are IE, Fire Fox, and Opera. All webpages look slightly different in each of them. IE is the most popular, so that is the one that is standard for building websites to. People who choose to use Fire Fox, Opera, and any others are use to have small issues with the sites they view. In other words, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

okay i will take your word for it. Yeah it bugs me a little bit, but i mean you have to do what you have to do. The people on craigslist were telling me it was a big deal. I had never even know anything else was out there other than IE untill the other day. All computers come with IE anywauy lol. Sorry i didnt think to look here...myspace is down but i got the text you sent me a message i am sure its the same thing, sorry again and thanks!!!!

Its a big deal for those people that choose to use a browser that isn't 100% compatible. IE is the standard for browsers, everyone knows that.
