I'm not expert in debt consolidation, however I believe that now is the right time to refinance your debt as the interest rate is dropping now. You should consult your local banks to find out the interest rate.

There are many factors that come into play when deciding to do that or not. Are you paying interest on your student loans right now? What is the interest rate you are paying now compared to the possible interest rate when you refinance them? How much do you owe?

The only way to tell if its a good time or not is to work the numbers. The numbers will tell you.

Thanks Robert. I'll be sure to compare my rates to the current interest rates. I'm positive my loans around 7 or 8 percent.
