5 Foundations of success

I read from an article a while ago the 5 foundations of success & the 5 were:

Language
Communication
Marketing
Sales
Public Speaking

The thing is I cannot for the life of me remember where I read it (lame, I know), but a google search returns several sources which use this model.

I managed to remember these because I found it quite fascinating & as I got a few success mentors, I found that they indeed were masters at these skills whether they had learned it consciously of unconsciously. I worked with people in sales and business but in reality these are people skills as well as anything.
I guess I'm just adding a topic which might interest some & these foundations of success might be of use to anyone who is interested. I have noted also that great CEOs are excellent speakers.
There is a lot of things you can philosophise about with these 5 points as to how they can help in "successs" & how successful people demonstrate these skills if you stop & find your view of it.

I agree with your ideas, but I think that some sort of organizational skills need to be included in the list. That is an essential part of being successful.

For me the 5 foundations of success are:

1. Persistence
2. Perseverence
3. Determination
4. Taking action
5. Aiming for excellence

I think the saying : "When you aim for something, aim for the stars, at least when you fall you land on the trees and not on the ground. But if you aim for just the trees, when you fall, you will surely land on the ground. " holds true for achieving success.
